Eleshna chuckled and smiled. "Good, then perhaps we can pick up a few supplies there, then be well prepared to travel to Lorien... though..." She looked at the dragon. "I don't think they'll like seeing Azher..."

She veered the course more directly west, in the general direction she figured Ithillen would be located.

Eleshna smiled and faced forward again, breathing deeply of the air, as her eyes took in the glorious sunlit lands around them, the barren Ash mountains behind them and the white mountains far before them.

As they passed through the land Jaden thought about all the things that had happened... how he had felt, and how he had wished it would all just end. Now he could see that it was all worth it... he and Eleshna were both now free.

Eleshna smiled, feeling free as the light wind blew her hair back from her face. She wanted the peace to last forever, peace she had always hoped for, and was now nearly overwhelming her, being away from the only life she knew, and stepping into one she barely thought would be possible.

It was nearly dark by the time they reached a village within North Ithillen. It was quiet, the occasional farmer or merchant strolling the stone paved road.

Eleshna paused on a hill overlooking the peaceful village, smiling towards Jaden. "I suppose we'll leave Azher here until the morning?"

Jaden climbed down off Azher and let him go hid out int he country as he saw fit. "Do you know anyone here?" Jaden asked Eleshna.

Eleshna nodded her head. "Yes, I once knew the old innkeeper here very well, but he's pretty old now, and his son runs the inn. Pleasent fellow if you get to know him, but he's a little bit cold towards strangers. Luckily I wasn't too much of a stranger..."

She dismounted Syndar and lead the horse by the reins as she walked down the road lit by the dim light of the fading day.

Jaden followed along beside her, looking around at the small town. It had been forever since he had even been in a town. He had always avoided them, feering that the Mathiliat would come after him and end up killing somone from the town. Even now he had to remind himself not to be tens.

Eleshna noticed his slight tension and reached over to hold his hand for a moment, giving him a reasuring smile.

She had been used to going into towns, but it was usually to follow through with an assignment or to find supplies. Rare was it that she would walk in without being cautious, though she always disguised her nervousness and she did so now.

Stepping into an inn, the main room was full of chatter and the occasional loud drunkard, though Eleshna paid no heed to their ruckus. "If Old Aldor is around, he'll most likely give us rooms for a tale or two..." she chuckled quietly to herself, remembering how she had sat in the corner and told tale after tale various times.

Jaden squezed Eleshna's hand and smiled, lettin gout a deep breath. He realized how foolish it was to be tens... but he couldn't help himself sometimes he was so used to it.

"I think we could tell a few of those." Jaden commented dryly.

Eleshna laughed slightly, then gave a casual beckoning motion with her hand to a familiar face. "Aldor, I have not been to these parts in ages... tell me, are you lacking a tale or two? I might be able to strike a deal for a couple rooms?"

A rather tall and lean figure with a mess of a white beard and barely any hair left upon his head, ambled over to them, bent slightly by age though blue eyes sparkled brightly with a youthful vigor.

"Why if it isn't Elesh herself... of course! A deal it is, but... who is this? You usually come alone." He eyed Jaden for a moment, glancing towards the held hands. "Strange lad you've got there. Never seen his likes 'ere afore. What's you're name lad?"

"Jaden Valdez sir." Jaden replied. Jaden looked around the room, tacking in every character there was. Subconciously listing those he might wnat to be carefull around. He took in every detail he could until he stopped himself and payed atention to the conversation.

"Hmm, Jaden, pleasure to meet you." Aldor still eyed Jaden suspiciously. He wasn't too fond of newcomers. He was used to living in the dark times and he still took caution.

Eleshna chuckled. "Relax, Aldor... Would you like an ale or something, Jaden?" While asking this, she descretely glanced over those in the main room, seeking familiar faces or possible threats as was her habit. Even then she was nervous, but only inwardly, since her past history was not exactly clean, not even here.

Eleshna held up one finger and gave a nod to Aldor. She then weaved her way through towards the darker, more quiet corner. She was used to making herself less noticible, fitting in with the crowd, after all, it had been her job.

She sat down on the corner bench, her eyes still scanning here and there around them. She smiled quietly towards Jaden in a relaxed manner, though she was far from it.
