Wrong place, I think. This is the Miscellaneous Book Discussion of the Lord of the Rings.

I have not read any Star Wars books, nor do I plan to read any. It's just not that appealing to me.

I love Star Wars books. I have read every single one ever published, and quite proud of that. :) I enjoy mainly the Expanded Universe era. The young Jedi Knights: Jaina, Jacen, Anakin Solo, Tahiri; those are my favorites.

Oh and one of the mods will probably move this to the right place.

^ Mwahaha, wrong, the mods didn't; I did

I think I read some of the SW books years and years ago (the Han Solo trilogy, and the Jedi Apprentice books), and I read the novelizations of Episodes I and II.

I have read I think around 45 of them or so - I really enjoy reading them, but where I am overseas, they hardly ever show up, so I have to wait until I'm in the USA every other year to read a ton of them. They're awesome, especially the NJO books.

Jacen Solo is the coolest character ever...especially in Traitor.

How long did it take you to read them all, Shieldmaiden?

I started reading them when I was 13, so I guess four years. :) I started with Timothy Zahne's trilogy (the name is escaping me) and worked my way though the rest. The older books weren't very interesting (Splinter of Minds Eye, ect.) but the newer stuff, like New Jedi Order, is great.

Lol, I started with the Heir to the Empire Trilogy by Zahn, too. Great series.

I didn't really enjoy the ones that dealt with Callista - they got old after a while. Shadows of the Empire was really boring, too. The others are good, generally, too.

Honestly I don't like the ones with Luke Skywalker and the already established characters as much. I like th eones where they introduce completely new characters. (not man of those)

One reaso I like the Clone war stories.

Let's see...I've read the Jedi Apprentice series (all 18 books) about five times, the first 7 books of the Jedi Quest series about four times, the Episode I journals for Queen Amidala, Anakin, and Darth Maul, The Rogue Planet (set about 3 years after Episode I) twice, The Approaching Storm (about the border dispute on Ansion that Obi-Wan and Anakin deal with right before Episode II) twice, the Clone Wars novels Jedi Trial (about Anakin) and The Cestus Deception (about Obi-Wan) once each, The Labyrinth of Evil (the story right before Episode III; ends with Obi-Wan and Anakin going to rescue Palpatine), and Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader (the story immediately after Episode III). I'm about to start the Episode III novel, and after that I'm going the read the novels of Episodes IV-VI (haven't found I and II yet). And after I've read all the novels, I'm gonna start into the New Jedi Order series and hopefully the Han Solo books.
So yeah, I'm pretty much addicted to Star Wars books. I love all the history you get, and all the background information you find out. :lightsabre:

Me too. I have the chronology practicly memorized and I know almost every character and their life story. My brothers are into SW too, they get into the weapons and machinery stuff. We love Star Wars trivia, but nobody will play with us anymore cause we always win. Sad isn't it? :P

I love Star Wars books! I think my favorite series is the Bounty Hunter Wars. They are incredible - mainly because they deal with Boba Fett and bounty hunters. I've also read the Han Solo trilogy and Timothy Zahn's trilogy (can't think of the name right now). I've read more, but those are my favorite.
