((okay, sry, i promise i'm here...just got kinda sidetracked. i'm thinking i'll skip the actual mutiny, since it would pretty much just be me talking to myself (Barbossa and the crew)))
Barbossa struggled violently against his captors, but his own agility was no match for the brute strength of Bo'sun. "I assure ye, Cap'n, yer not doin' any good," the giant said as Barbossa fought to free his arms from Bo'sun's solid grasp. More roughly than was probably necessary, he shoved the former captain into one of the cells and locked the door.
No longer quite as intimidated by the old villain, Pintel risked a snicker. "Not so dangerous now, are we, Barbossa?" he taunted. Still, despite his new-found security, he involuntarily jumped back as Barbossa lunged at the cell door.
Regaining his composure, Barbossa loosed his grip on the iron bars, straightened his hat, and dusted off his coat. He managed to fix his face with an indifferent smirk as he addressed the men. "You gents seem to be forgettin' that I'm the only one who knows how to lift this curse," he said, the malice in his eyes belying his even tone.

Meanwhile, while this was happening Jack had been resting when he heard the scuffles and thumps of feet up above. He then knew what exactly the crew was doing. He heard a voice above and knew it was Barbossa. He laughed to himself and smirked knowing that Barbossa's plan was ruined.

Devina flicked a splinter of wood at Jack, catching him on the nose "Stop that crazy laughter." she grunted, resuming picking her nails.

((just so y'all know, Barbossa is in the brig now...Bo'sun threw him into a cell...just thought Cap'n Jack might like his moment to gloat  ))

Ignoring Barbossa's rant, Bo'sun unlocked the other cells to let Jack and his companions out.
Blackbird stood up and stetched, shooting the men a dark look as she strode out of the cell. "I'm watching you, mate," she muttered, pointing a finger in Pintel's face.
Pintel grinned nervously and backed away from her hand. "Easy there, lass," he said. "We ain't done you no harm."

Jack ignored the shove from Devina. He swayed his body over to Pintel and slapped him on the back with a giddy grin on his face. "Thanks very much." Jack smirked at the others and puffed out his chest feeling like Captain again, "Now, where is that blasted Barbossa, I would like a word with 'im!"
(Pirateoftherings, when do you want to bring in the terrible second part of the you-know-what into the story?)

Jack swerved his neck around and peered into one of the cells. "Of course ye are there!" He twitched his eyes for a few moments then gathered up his strides and rested up against the bars as if they were a soft couch. He stared at Barbossa with delighted eyes that scintillated with amusement. "Ah, fancy that, just a few moments ago, you was swingin' around your Captain speech, took the keys and now..." He held up the bunch of rusted keys in his dirty hand, "I'm holdin' 'em! You're bloody horrid at this Barbossa! I can't believe ye aren't dead yet." He jingled the keys with a smirk on his face.

"Yes, well, sein' as I already died once, Sparrow, I'm none too eager t' go through it again," Barbossa replied mildly. "Thanks to this little curse, I won't have to...and at your expense."
