Dani rolled her eyes and sighed. Lily sat next to her, and she put her head on her shoulder. "Why don't you guys ever give up on me?" she asked, laughing.

Lily laughed,"So, you up for it?"

Dani grimaced, then said, "Fine. As long as you give me a hand...it's kinda short notice to get ready."

"Sure!" Lily said, smiling.
"Eek! I haven't even had any time to get ready myself!"

Dani laughed. "I have plenty of time...three hours is enough."

"Ok...First things first - What are you going to wear?"

Dani bit her lip, then dragged Lily up to the dormitory. She walked over to her trunk and pulled out a long, slivery-blue, simple-but-elegant dress. She avoided eye contact and said, "Mum made me bring it...it has a matching choker, shoes, and something for your hair..."

"Wow, Dani, that's beutiful!" she said.

Dani shrugged, grabbed her brush and began to brush her hair. "First things first.." she laughed.

Lily brushed her hair too. Then she went and had a shower, returning in her deep red silky dress and her hair tied up, elegantly.

Dani showered and deep conditioned her hair, leaving it long, elegant, slightly wavy, and silkily soft. She brushed it and left it down, then pulled on her dress. She put the choker on, then pulled on the shoes. She checked her reflection: a girl with medium skin, long, dark hair, dark eyes, and a slivery-blue dress. She sighed, shook her head, and reached for some eyeshadow.

Lily started with the make up. This was going to be a challenge. First she applied deep, red lip stick to match her dress. Then she put on some silver/red eyeshadow and then mascara, finally putting on some blush. She looked at herself in the mirror. Something was missing. She pulled out a pair of ruby earrings form her draw and put them on. Then she put on a ruby neclase to match.
Her shoes were crammed at the bottom of her trunk, they were red, high heels. She put them on, suddenly feeling very nervous.

Sirius transformed after an hour of mentality, he grabbed his bag and slipped the cloak on before walking out of the forest.
Once out and out of view he pulled off the cloak and made his way back up to the school, he climbed stairs untill he finally reached the fat lady, he said the password and climbed the stairs to the biys dorm where he met James.
"Hi" he said flinging his bag on his bed, and chukcing James' cloak into his arms.
"Thanks for letting me borrow it, i needed to blow of some steam and to think a little" he carried on flinging himself onto his bed and staring up at the canopy

Dani, despite her personality and image, was very good at applying makeup. She looked over at Lily and said, "Sweetie...come here." She took her finger and smoothed out the eyeshadow so that it was more moderate. "There," she smiled. Then she turned back to the mirror. <i>What a nightmare...</i> she thought to herself. She finished applying her lip gloss and began to brush her hair again, then decided to leave it down rather than pull it up...after all, no one had seen her with her hair down recently...that is, in about 2 1/2 to 3 years. She looked at Lily and sighed. "Ready?" she asked. It was about 67:00...the dance started at 7:30.

James turned around as he heard someone entering. Surprisingly, he was alone in the room he shared with the Marauders. Well until now. He caught the cloak and put it back on his bed.
"Think? You actually can do that?" he said grinning "Pads you are really amazing."
