Of course not Andune Telemnar!! Anyone can enter whether your an old timer or a youngling when it comes to graphics making!!  It's also a good way to get pratice and comments about what people think works or what dosen't work. _________________

Well I tend to favour banner contests but is also depends on what I like. For example, I don't think I would enter a contest I have no interest in as it's much easier to make something if you like the subject. I tend to struggle with blends and wallpapers and I've been making graphics since last October! Avatars are easy to make but there are that many contests for them. Add effects are also good as it's just you against the banner trying to make it look as nice as possible!!

Its nice to know that I'm not the only one still fairly new (n/o) to all this jazz. (I just started in like...September last year? No, I think it was closer to December. Yeah, probably the end of November. )

Its nice to know that I'm not the only one still fairly new (n/o) to all this jazz. (I just started in like...September last year? No, I think it was closer to December. Yeah, probably the end of November. ) I just joined this site last month. And I entered in some contests already. I just checked out some contests to warm up and joined a few after that. I don't care about wining them really. I'ts just inspiring really! And I think I am making progress. So Andune, just enter on some contest if there are vacant spots and see what happens. It's all just for fun and It's also fun for the contests-hosts if you join! _________________

Yah I have entered contests before and thought wow mine is pretty good! Its amazing how you dont realize how good it is until you post it on the forums

^haha yeah i have to agree with you ... though i never win any awards i still gain a lot of experience  ... i only starting graphic-making in april or may and i guess mine are pretty okay  _________________
