"Easy Devina." Eliza said. Then she turned to Jack. "You know Pintel and Ragetti. Used to be part of Barbossa's crew. They work for me now." She said with a smirk.

Devina restrained herself easily, and let the dagger caresses his throaught not hard enough to harm him, but hard enough to let him know what he was up against. Her eyes flickered briefly to Eliza and she gave a smile.

Jack lifted his chin higher than usual as Devina played with the knife to his throat. He swallowed then said, "What is there to say to ye?" He raised another one of his eyebrows.

Devina glanced at Eliza again. She knew about as much about what was going on as Ragetti or Pintell. She blinked and smirked all the wider, hoping what Eliza was going to say would be good and thanking all the gods she knew that Jack couldnt see her face right now.

The bit about her mother she never told anyone, for she was saving it for his ears to hear.

Blackbird watched as the pirates confronted Jack. She had just decided to let them be when Devina's dagger appeared at Jack's throat. Muttering an oath under her breath, she slipped her knife back into its sheath and strode over to the small group. "Something I can help you with, mates?" she asked.

Blackbird raised an eyebrow quizzically. "A very reasonable rule," she conceded with a slight nod, "and one I would normally have no problem abiding by. However, we seem to be at a bit of an impasse. See, Jack here's my friend, and if you kill him, there'll be nobody left to buy me a drink, savvy?"

During this, Jack stood with a solid expression of face. He swallowed very cautiously, afraid of if he did swallow the normal speed the dagger would dig into his throat. He eyed Blackbird strangely.
