Val led the other three into a nearby cafe and ordered a cup of caf, then sat down at a table. "Well, that was interesting." She took a sip of the pungent liquid. "I don't think our assailant there will be able to make his appointment tomorrow night."

Anakin swept past the others and found a seat down one from Val's. He didn't order anything to eat or drink. His eyes remained focused on the table as the others talked.

Val put her cup down, knowing that they weren't picking up on her hints. She leaned forward and lowered her voice. "Here's the deal. I can fabricate that evidence and take it to the 'Grey Man' tomorrow night, but I'm going to need backup. I'll try to play the part of a proxy and figure out the reason behind the attacks, but if things go sour, I'd like to get out of there in one piece."
