It's not a crikle, it's silk. Also, there is no embrodiery ont he uppers sleeves, there are beads. If you're going off what Maggie did, she just bought a fabric with embroidery on it and sewed the beads on so she wouldn't have to draw her own design.
I'm just sewing the beads on.l

Lothril, I wish I could help.
Ellethwen, where did you buy fabric with the pattern already on it, that you only have to sew on the beads?

I didn't buy fabric with the pattern already one. I just bought normal fabric. I'll draw the pattern on with a fabric pen.
I'f you're curious,I got it at Hobby Lobby.

Sewing has come to a major standstill... not that it was started as yet... but I was going to start Monday... then I got a babysititing job on Monday. So I either have to move it to Saturday or Sunday or Tuesday. In any event, I am going to be swamped from here til May. BOO!
That's cool Ellethwen that you're doing that. Ingenious!

I bought some trumpet beads, they are allt eh same size. As they should be.
I haven't been able to sew my overdress together-actaully, more afraid to then not able to. The last time I tried, the fabric got caught because the sewing machine is in bad condition and is most likely broken. The bobbins don't work right,

They are long, thin beads.
