It was quite good but I doubt I'll be wanting to seeing it in the cinema again or rushing out to buy it on DVD.
I didn't think it was nearly as good as the original films. I miss the humour of them and I especially miss Han Solo. It was however far better than the last 2 and it was more exciting.
Did anyone else think Ewan MacGregor was terrible in it? Half of his lines - esspecially the ones to Anakin in the first half of the film sounded very fake and unnatural. Though I know he is a very good actor having seen him in Trainspotting, Moulin Rouge and Down With Love.
But Yoda was amazing it it :lightsabre: I loved his battle with the Emperor

I was also debating whether to give Ewan the benefit of the doubt seeing as though I'm in love with Obi-Wan and I squeal whenever I see TV spots for "The Island" for Ewan McGregor. I watched a documentary on Ewan becoming Obi-Wan and I think he was really just trying to get into the character which Alec Guinness had played for Obi-Wan in the first trilogy. But I thought he was great and I mean, alot of Jedi are like that --- since they don't really have that emotion in them.

I liked it a lot, I am a bigger fan of the original but these ones brought some new stuff to the series. There were a few things I found a little *blah* but overall I thought it was really good, I'd like to say more but I guess I shouldn't spoil it yet...Don't get me wrong, I loved all the movies, the original and the prequels!!

It was very good - joint favourite with Episode V for my favourite Star Wars film overall. Still, like with all of the Star Wars films I must admit, there were parts where you think a character could have been explored better, the dialogue was a little clunky of the acting a little wooden. It didn't disappoint me though - in fact, I spent about an hour and a half of it with my legs crossed because I really needed the loo but didn't want to miss any!
I will probably go see it again - and then I won't be distracted by needing to go to the bathroom hopefully.

That's how I was!
"Must go to bathroom, but can't...miss anything....nope..."
Episode III put me in tears the first time I saw it, not as bad as RotK though but it was heartbreaking.

I just saw it yesterday and I LOVED it!! It was awesome, though I barely remember Episode I and II, they were all rented out from Blockbuster, understandingly.
But I might see it again, I'd really like to! :lightsabre:

I liked the movie enough that if someone paid my way I wouldn't object to seeing it again, but I wouldn't buy the ticket myself. It was better than I & II, but definately not half as good as IV, V and VI. I'm looking forward to the day when I can watch all six in a row on DVD, though.

I LOVED the movie. It was so incredible! I want to see it again, and again, and again (ok I will stop here). I just loved it. I cried through the whole movie! It was just so emotional! I just loved how the movie went! George Lucas did a fantastic job (and so did Natalie, Hayden, and Ewan! )

Arwen the webmaster wrote: *cough*didn't like it very much at all*cough* Never mind me...I just don't like the recent SW movies. I'm more of a fan of the original trilogy. I will say that Ewan did a great job as always, and Hayden improved from AotC. But...I don't want to spoil the thread and rant about it, so I'll stop there

Indeed, it's now about why it happened, it's about HOW it happened.
Love it.
With great Jedi hotness
