Quote: Of course as some people have said the director might have put it in just for an emotional moment with Lupin and Harry but you would have thought he could have used Lupin and James' friendship. I have read that JKR sometimes tells the actors things about their characters that she hasn't yet revealed in the books.
Yeah. JK Rowling sometimes tells the actors important bits about the character their playing. If the writers left that scene is because it's important for the character or something like that.

Hmm.. .I never knew that..
One thing that is great though, is that they are making the movies while the author is still alive so they can have her help them out on the sticky details.

^Yep.One of the lucky things about HP is that JK Rowling is alive and she can answer our questions about the book and the people from WB can ask her stuff for the movies.

Exactly, I bet the WB and actors know tons of extra HP things that most fans would love to learn. Still it's got to be intersting to have the author come to the set

It'd be kinda difficult to theorize about the next book if there wouldn't be a next book. lol

Of course that's half the fun of Harry Potter
Even though I can't wait for book 7 to come out I'm not sure how I'll cope when it does. Maybe I'll try and find another unfinished series to obsess over

I know what you two mean. I love having Harry Potter be unfinished, because its soo exciting to read the book for the first time, knowing millions of other people are doing the same thing.
I'm going to be so sad when its over,
I love when authors are still alive and can keep adding on to series,

I think even more fanfiction will be coming out when the series ends.
I'm just disappointed that she won't be doing any prologues.....I want her to write Hogwarts, A History!

Mee too!! I wish she would write about the Mauraders time in Hogwarts, Snape's Worst Memory is one of my favorite chapters..
*sigh*
But she said she wouldn't be doing that. She hinted about writing something to clear all the lose ends up at the end, though.

Again, I don't feel that a series about the Marauders would be all that exciting ---- or do they have an evil Dark lord?

Well there would be all their adventures through Hogwarts, and Voldemort would still be a threat at that time, I believe
Or there could be a book about the Order, the original one, that would be interesting.

Mmmm.....well, their adventure at Hogwarts would be interesting, I wouldn't mind ONE book of that --- And Voldemort's impending threats during their years in Hogwarts weren't that alarming, I think it was the period after they graduated where it started getting really dangerous.
