I think personally he's dead, for the same reasons that Bellethil mentioned. Harry's a man after his 17th birthday, he can't always have someone there to protect him, and he realises that at DD's funeral. Of course I don't want him dead, but there you go.
After a while I found it funny that Snape killed DD... maybe my mind is just warped from trying to design a new layout for TCASBK...

I think,Dumbledore will come, back, wait... I know he Has come back. On page 584 of the HBP near the top of the page, it said

He is dead over and done with. I know he won't come back in any other form cuz that would be like a tease and if Dumbledore died he isn't coming back. To all believers i am sorry he is gone.
