It's out in select theatres in the U.S. right now. It is basically about racism and prejudice in Los Angeles, but really is about the subjects being present everywhere. It has an all-star cast including Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Brendan Fraser, Ryan Phillippe, and Matt Dillon. Excellent film; one cannot help but be moved by it.

Great movie!
I just watched it last summer at an outdoor showing. We were sitting on blankets and curled up really close because it got chilly at night. But the whole atmosphere of the movie managed to creep up under my skin nevertheless and it was a very odd feeling when it ended... it was dark and the stars were clear on the sky.. it just fit the movie so well..

The movie reminds me of Traffic, not only because of the interrelatedness of the characters and the great acting, but also because of the theme...

I bought the movie on DVD because it's a movie you should have in your collection because of its message. Everything about it is amazing; the different stories, the social problems, the soundtrack...Everyone should go and see it. :)

^Aww yeah, the soundtrack, I forgot about that.... :bounce:
*flips through layers and piles of papers and notes on desk*
*draws out dusty note and reads aloud*

Sense of Touch
In The Deep ~ Bird York
Negliance ~ Saint Christopher
Flames
Maybe Tomorrow ~ Stereophonics

^Would those titles and artists be from the soundtrack? I remember how I looked for the soundtrack on Google and listened to a few songs and wrote down the tracks I liked the most.... but it's some time ago now and I forgot about it....

^'In the Deep' is my favorite. It's so haunting and beautiful.
