Because there are little pixies inside your mind, kicking away at your braincells, and making tea from the randomness in your mind...therefore stopping you from thinking up questions.
That, and the purple rabbit ran away with all the question marks.

Because several years ago, they were black, but the DarkGreen Aliens came secretly to your school and painted them dark green. These aliens are on a mission to turn the whole world dark green. Or at least they were, but they misjudged the size of earth and used up all their paint on the blackboards.
Q. Why do we park on driveways and drive on parkways?

A: Beacuse there's a glitch in the computer program of the satelite that controls our brains.
Q: Why don't people say 'foreboding' and 'tremulous' and words like that anymore?

A. Because the computer program of the satelite that controls our brains is slowly erasing certain words from our memories. Soon we won't remember those words at all.

A. because there are microscopic magnets in both the ketchup and the hot dog which are just strong enough to attract each other, making people naturally want to put one on the other.
