Good thing about some of my fave X-Men...they're notoriously difficult to kill.
Wolverine, Phoenix...
Wait...in the comics. There's no such thing as a character that stays dead. They always bring them back.
Psylocke - Returned from the dead
Colossus, Phoenix, Magneto, Xavier...the list goes ever on and on

Well Wolverine you can't really kill...Rogue and Gambit you can and I'm so worried because I don't know if they will make it
Bad thing to live in Sweden is that it's so hard to get the comics >_<

In the comics anyone that has died can come back. Colossus is back from the dead, as is Psylocke.
They always find ways to bring characters back.
As for the movie verse...I really don't know. There are so many rumours about deaths and people taking the cure. I don't know what to believe. Just making it all the more exciting and tense for when the day comes to go see it.

A few minor characters have stayed dead, but no one all that important. I was bummed when Moira McTaggert died, and they recently killed Banshee

Moira's human though...so poor wee luv doesn't count (or does she). I miss her though...her and her ridiculously overblown Scottish accent (We do NOT talk like that lol).
I'd read about Banshee, that pretty much sucks I liked ole Sean.
Bummer.

Oh, I thought we were just talking characters, but yeah X-men have died left, right, and sideways all along, I'm very anxious to see how Jean's revival is gonna be handled, I'm anxious to see how the Phoenix plays into the storyline, since its not the main storyline and yet so important. I'm really excited at the thought that this film might lean a little more on the comics.

I think the words Bret Ratner uses is.
"Every scene will be like a page from the comic book"
I have faith that he will handle it well. Take Singers vision and expand on it to make it really epic.
I know theres a a team of CGI people spefically just for Jean/Phoenix effects. So I think there'll be the Firebird manifestation at least once.
I hope so anyway....that and the cry of the Phoenix.
There is so much good to look forward to in this movie, I think we'll all be happy but drained lil geeks coming out of the theatres.

You know what I've always wanted to see on screen, Iceman's fully ice-covered version. He's always been such a powerful character so I hope to see at least one good Iceman attack or offensive move.

Would Bobby look realistic iced up on the big screen? That's the thing.
Don't get me wrong I'd love to see it, even for just a small scene.
Thing about Iceman, he was always the class clown, never taking things too seriously. Almost afraid of the power he wielded. He never really utilised them to there fullest potential till Emma Frost invaded his mind and began to manipulate his power and show him exactly what he was capable of.
In the X3 game he does have his trademark iceslides...so who knows. Maybe he gets a chance to unleash a little bit of his powers in the movie.
Chris Claremont worked with Zak Penn (or Kinberg) to get the game as close to the storyline of the movie as possible.
Anyhoo...I found someone with scans from Wizard #174. Just a pic of Angel and a pic of Wolverine. They somehow saved quite small, so I'm hoping for bigger better versions later. If I get them I'll post them too.
Enjoy.
