I read The Sword of Shannara, I thought it was good. Flick was my fave character. Right now I'm reading The Elfstones. I'm liking it a little better than The Sword.

I agree as well, my favorite character in the Elfstones is Amberle.

I was about to make a new topic but found then this old one. Well I've read the sword, the elfstones and the wishsong of shannara. Somehow I found the last one best of them. I quite liked them all but that's true that there are similarities to LOTR especially in the Sword of Shannara.
