I am a huge fan of Greek Mythology, ever since I first read about Zeus and the creation of the earth from the Greek's pov I have loved the theories and myths.

Just wondering which Greek Myth you enjoyed and why?

Well the first ones that come to mind are Icarus and Asclepius(this one I just happened to read somewhere...)

funny how this story relates to modern medicine since in some ambulances there is the blue... cross should I say and the staff with a snake around it, which Asclepius had... but why do I like it this myth?

cause in this even the greatest of gods admitted that he had made a mistake and he rescurreted asclepius..

Yay! I adore greek myths, I've read tonnes on them, though you can probably guess that from my username. My favourites are the story of Arachnae and Troy.

I´m so happy I´m not the only Greek geek!
I´ve loved the myths since I was 7 or 8, and I still love them, though Iliad is getting kinda boring for me... :/ Oddiseus rocks, Athena kicks butts, Artemis is okay too...

Oh man, this brings me back to sixth grade when we were obsessed with Greek Mythology. We even gave each other Greek God and Goddess names :p I was Hestia! The goddess of the Hearth! On the playground we would refer to each other as our greek names! Ah, good times! Anwyays, Greek Mythology has always had a special place in my heart...I love reading the lore it's so cool!

I also adore Greek Myths! Though I don't know what my favorite greek myth is though. When I was little, I was obsessed with Oedipus [sp?] but now I'm really interested in the Trojan war and the Illiad.

Greek mythology is awesome (I detest Roman which is ripoff of Greek). Athena and Hades are my favorites.

I have to agree with you there, I hate how the Roman's ripped off of the Greeks mythology, so cheap.. :P

I've always loved Mythology, Greak the most of course. We had to read this huge yellow book about mythology in like 5th grade so I learned about a bunch. I think though I still like the stories about the Titians and Cronus, him eating his own children. But I love the Illiad and the Odyssey, and Theseus's story.

My favorite God has always been Poseidon....which is odd since he's sorta always portrayed as the bad guy in some myths.

^ Yeah, in Oddissey he´s introduced as a bad boy... on the other hand, in Oedipus´ story he helps him... I think he´s also "good" in Argonauts stories.
