At my school sometimes me and a couple of my friends help with the recycling, as in putting all the stuff in the blue bins into bags and taking it out to be picked up, and it's so disgusting what people put in there. Like milk, which goes sour and stinks like crazy

Mhmm, well I'm part of this evironmental/human rights group at my school so we do a whole bunch of stuff like that

That´s cool, I wish there would be something like this at our school... But it´s really my last year here... and high school is just the same - let´s make the nature dirty, and let´s feel cool because you did that.

Luckily we have a teacher that cares enough to get it running for us. There aren't a lot of members, considering the size of the school but we still get stuff done

You're lucky, there is an "Adventure Seekers" Club at my school, but there isn't a enviromental club and I don't have the time or abition to start one...

I'm the only one of my friends who gives a care about the environment. I'm always getting after my friends for throwing their trash on the ground. They all tend to ignore me when I start talking about stuff like that.

I'm constantly telling people to recycle their paper, NEVER throw it away. One time my mom threw a whole stack of papers into the garbage bag and then i went in took all of them out (it was a new bag so it was clean) and dumped them in the recycling bin, and she just rolled her eyes at me.

I know that feeling. The science teacher makes up recycle all our papers, and I'm the only person in my class at least who takes it seriously.

It really frustrates me that the world doesn't take recycling and throwing trash in the correct recepticle (I don't think that is spelled right) seriously! Argh! And then they wonder why the seagulls and pigeons invade public places, crapping on everything in sight! Ack!
