I think its something a lot of pastors kind of avoid. (Mine actually talked about it on sunday). So most people don't know a whole lot about it. If you want to know more, read the book of Revelation.

Yeah, my pastor doesn't talk much about the rapture. I finally get the Bible. Genesis means beginning and Revolation is the end. So the Bible is sorta what is going to happen to the world and what happened before that and so on. Does anyone know what I mean? But I am not that curious about the world's ending believe it or not. My mom years ago went to one of Tim Layhae's sermons, and he talked about the rapture of course. That the antichrist will come from Europe, and stuff like that. She doesn't remember the rest, or at least I don't. I want to get a shirt that says something about the rapture. Ok. Dose anyone have a favorite character in Left Behind book/movie?

It's true that our minister doesn't talk that much about life after death in general more about living your life now but looking at this link on it: http://www.religioustolerance.org/rapture.htm it does seem to be something that only some Christians believe in.

I've read the whole adult series. The first few were actually good, but by the last few it had become boring. While I think the whole idea is interesting, I personally don't believe in the Rapture and I think these books actually reinforced that belief by showing the flaws with the theory. The authors did a great job in the beginning with their Biblical reasoning, but after a while it was almost too obvious that they were stretching the limits for interpretation of Revalations to fit with their story. Overall I'd consider the Left Behind books severly overrated.

Um, anyways, my Pastor doesn't hesitate to talk about the rapture....its one of his favorite points actually and I've learned alot of things by talking to him.
And actually, there's a big think about the LB books I disagree with...I belive that God doesn't rapture us till after the tribulation....but that's just me. My dad believes the other way so...

Yes, I will have to keep watch to see if I can tell you when it is on. Do you have the History Channel? I have it on DVR.

Ok, since everyone is rushing to answer I will go first. I really like Carpathia. I always fall in love with the evil character, but cheer for the good side .
