Avari turned. Her peircing gaze falling on Maralyn. Nathron stood up and barred his razor sharp teeth. A low grown echoed in his throute. Avari made no move to stop him.

Maralyn knelt down and held out her hand to Nathron, showing that she meant no harm. She spoke calming words in elvish, trying to make friends with him.

Nathron's growl grew deeper and when she reached out her hand he snapped at it missing it by inches. Avari looked down.
"Lehan." She said softly. Nathron watched Maralyn for a moment then stopped growling.

Maralyn stood up and nodded towards the husky. "That is a beautiful animal you've got there," she said. Then, looking at Avari, she said, "What is your business in Imladris?"
