Gwen sat on the wooden floor of her bedroom next to her trunk. Only a few more days and she'd be in Hogwarts. As she placed her rumpled robes into the trunk, her red hair, neatly pulled back, morphed into short pink hair. As she latched the trunk up, she intentionally left her Firebolt out. It gleamed on top of her light blue comforter. She picked it up and threw open the doors to her balcony. The Lupin Mansion overlooked a forest. Perfect for flying without Muggle detection. She mounted her broom and kicked off.

Elena was lying on her bed horizontally, her legs touching the wooden floor of her room. She had been in the position for nearly half an hour now, and she didn't intend from moving for another thirty minutes or so. She'd probally miss her bed terribly so she decided to make the most of her last weekend back at home.

That was what was playing on her music system. She hummed along to it, her foot moving with the beat. She closed her eyes and began to think of the many events at Hogwarts. She was very grateful for the last two days she had to spend at home, away from most of the events.

Marie erupted into laughter. "I packed my brown jacket....denim jacket...three pairs of pants...including that cute pair of torn ones I bought last week...my black boots, my brown Apache boots, my three sweaters....two pairs of sneakers...that one brown cutoff jacket I had...five blouses...and..." she thought for a moment, "Oh yeah! And my racer jacket and sports jacket...the one we got at last year's World Cup." She had a great weakness for jackets. She looked up as an owl pecked the window. She looked at Lilian and grinned. "That'll be Captain McDreamy." 'Captain McDreamy' was her nickname for Lilian's boyfriend, the Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch Team.
