It was actually in my history book, which suprised me, cause they usually credit Columbus, even though he meant to go to India I believe..

I have definitely heard that someone else discovered America and had he made it know America would be called something different today..but I can't remember who it was... _________________

Anyways, I dunno who first discovered America...right now we're learning about New France, and the British colonies.
I was just thinking, what if the Brits hadn't won the control over Canada, and the French had. Of course, it was inevitable that they would win, but still...

Okay, this whole Afghanistan thing is ticking me off.
Why? Because Stephen Harper decided to send troops as a freakin' apology to the US for Canada not supporting the war in Iraq.
Elected for a month and a half, and I already don't like our Prime Minister. Can't say I didn't expect it.
