"I never saw the guy on the beach really, but I some said he was around and left then to the jungle..."

Dave shruggged as Locke turned to them.

"Done chatting? We have to find them before nightfall..."

Dave said and followed Locke and Jack to the jungle.

They traced the tracks for few hours until Locke suddenly stopped kneeling down and looking in two directions.

".... the tracks slipt up here... we could go the other and never find them or we have to split up too..."

"But does anyone else know how to track?" Jack asked.

"Not me" Dave said all tough he had hunted slightly, but not surely enough.

Jack said obviously wanting get off from Locke and besides Jack knew that Dave trusted Locke more than he ever could. Dave tsk quietly and looked at Locke.

Locke turned leading Dave and Boone to the left tracks continuing the search.

Dave, Boone and Locke moved trough the jungle listening to the sounds quietly until Dave opened his mouth.

"So... what do you really think happened with Claire and Charlie? Seriously one man couldn`t have dragged them both?"

"I wouldn`t be so sure about that, with the thing around here in the jungle I`d believe that easily..."

"Why do you doubt the island and all that you have seen and heard Dave?"

Locke suddenly asked and Dave smirked.

"I don`t know, I guess I don`t believe in god so I don`t believe in this either..."

"Then the island will test your faith one day..."

Dave hmped and Boone looked back at him with his eyebrown raised as the three procceeded trough the jungle.

"So.. I believe that Dave is stable now? That he won`t try to do anything like he did with Sawyer to anyone else?"

"I was looking for my father in Australia, when I found him he was dead and he was on the plane... in a coffin of course.."
