(woohoo, I'm back, sry I didn't let you all know. I was bashing walls with crowbars in NOLA)
As she waited, Val reached out with the Force, searching the man. He felt oddly familiar, in a past-era kind of way. As if she had felt him before.
"Yes," he finally said slowly. "Four deaths. Your proof is irrefutable." He stood, again slowly. "I think I have seen you before."
Val shrugged callously. "I've done jobs for you. And just about every other head man in the Coruscant underworld. Lemme see, your speciality was... racing? I may be wrong."
"You've a quick mind...?"
"Norian."
"Norian? I don't remember contracting with anyone under that name before."
"Oh, I change names, here and there. Let's say I've got personality issues. I've also got gambling issues... any tips? I had a few hundred creds on last night's races. That cursed silver team, they came from nowhere!"
"That should not have happened." His eyes were still searching her face. "Our mutual friend did not fulfill his contract as specified."
Val leaned against the table. "They're dead. That's all that matters."
"They should not have been allowed to win the race. I'm short millions of credits because the green did not win. I had everything arranged - I would be a rich man now, were it not for that single act of incompetence -" his hand clamped down on her wrist "- Lady Valera Starsteel."

Val checked the instinct to uppercut his jaw with her left fist - her arm was still useless for combat - and instead landed a sidekick in his lowest rib. He recovered more quickly than she would have liked, flinging her, sliding, across the table. She flipped onto the floor and shoved the table forward into his gut, buying time to draw a knife.
His hood fell back, revealing his face, and she gasped. "Dean Lentew." The man who'd tried to lead a coup to usurp her father. Anything that he did was controlled by the desire for riches.
How many henchmen did he have out there in the bar area? She didn't have time to think about that. Flipping the knife in her hand, she drew back, ready to throw. _________________

As an instinct Anakin's body jolted upwards as he suddenly felt the disturbance in the force. His hand grasped his saber and he activated it quickly. He threw back the hood that hung in his eyes and started charging through the crowd to the place where Val was, not thinking twice about his identity...

With a snap of her wrist, Val flung the knife. He stepped aside at the last minute, drawing a blaster as she followed it up, flipping across the table. Landing in a crouch on the floor, she looked up just in time to deflect a barrage of blaster bolts with the Force.

Jaden started to answer Sheilk when he felt the disturbance and saw Anakin go running.
From behidn Anakin a couple men closed in on him.
"Go! We can take them!" Jaden yelled to Anakin as he moved to intercept the men.

Anakin glanced back for a quick flash of a second before he focused his thoughts back on Val. He dodged the crowd, and quickened his pace as he ran. What seemed to be seconds later, Anakin burst through the door and into the room where he met the faces of Val and the 'Grey Man.'

It took all of Val's concentration to deflect the bolts that were pinning her down. "Do something!" she screamed, as Anakin came through the door.

Anakin caught Val's words to him and he leapt himself infront of her and deflected the bolts away from her and himself with his saber. He focused hard on his enemy that no force could waver his concentration...

Jaden sent a man flying through the window.
Ducking from another punch he came up from under the man's swing. He would try to avoid using his lightsaber if at all possible.

Sheilk Used the force so scout any other enemies in the mixed crowd....And the results where... two feet behind him. As fast as he could, he swung around, knocking someone off there balance from the force of his whooshng elbow. (whoosing, hehe)
