After magically resurrecting himself, Yrudit strode over to the door and wrenched it open.

Only to come face to face with a man.

Yrudit felt his blood congeal in his veins. He stared at the stranger, whose features were hidden behind a black veil. He wore nondescript robes, bore a plain wooden staff. Yet that aura of evil, of vileness so undiluted he felt it even on this sunlit day, emulated from the man. It was the aura that gave him away. Yrudit would know it anywhere.

"What a pleasant surprise. And I thought you friendless. Very well. Bring them along." The voice hissed, sibilant and rasping.

"I have no power over them," Yrudit said quietly.

The man shrugged and seemed to smile. He beckoned with one bony finger. "They would do well to follow all the same."

Mirima looked up suddenly, chilled to the bone. She straightened to her full height and watched the exchange with cautious interest.

"Introduce your companion, Yrudit. You seem to have met before."

Henri saw the elf go to another room. Quickly he followed her to find a man. Though he hasn't never felt fear before, his pale skin went paler when he saw him. Instantly, he unsheathed his long sword and pointed it at him. He asked, "Who are you? What do you want?"

Yrudit slowly turned around. It was the elf - Mirima, her name? "Not anything I'd like to repeat," he replied dryly.

"You and your pet friends coming, Yrudit Vs'axeral?" The man looked over his shoulder impatiently, though his voice gave away nothing but tacit mockery.

Yrudit was more than disconcerted to find his taloned hand had slipped unconsciously to the hilt of his jeweled sabre. Hating himself, he beckoned to the others and followed.
