Hello!!
hmm... what to say here.. OH! I remember!
Question Time, for Tan is utterly confused..
Did Harry's (James's Parents) Grandparents die? Because Lily and James died at like 22 I believe we figured so they would be too old and stuff.. but what happened to them?

Jo said something about that. They're dead, and they're not significant to the story.

It's odd that no one has brought up the subject of Harry's grandparents in the book. Actually, no grandparents were mentioned except for Neville.

I know, it kind of bugs me how Harry doesn't ask questions about his family. I mean, he didn't even ask what his parents did for a living, of if they even worked (apart from the Order of course).

^me too.
Quote: Gary Oldman, who played the part of Sirius Black in the third and fourth Harry Potter movies, has not yet been asked by Warner Brothers to reprise the role of Harry's godfather in Order of the Phoenix. According to Douglas Urbanski of the Douglas Management Group (who represents Oldman), WB has had little desire since the beginning for the actor to return in OOTP, even though Oldman requests small payment. As a result, Urbanski has stated that unless WB offers him the role by next week, Oldman won't consider returning as Black. We'll let you know what WB has to say.
You have got to be kidding me.

Urg, stupid WB! If you don't ask Gary on I'm going to implode! As much as I don't want Sirius to die, I like Oldman, he is an amazing Sirius, and if they change actors we'll just have to scream at them!
I think its from Leaky-Cauldron or Mugglenet

Mugglenet...it wasn't posted at Leaky which is more reliable for their news. So hopefully it's not true.

Am I the only one here who doesn't like Gary Oldman as Sirius? Personally, I think he and David Thewlis both look too old for their roles. They're supposed to be 33, and Gary's almost 50. I also don't like Thewlis' voice! It really gets on my nerves. And how he puts his hands in his pockets all the time really annoys me, too. Don't get me wrong, Gary lovers, I think he's a good actor(I love him in The Scarlet Letter!), but I don't think he's right for the role of Sirius. At the end he seems too calm and mature, when in many ways Sirius hasn't grown up yet.
Has anyone here noticed that when Harry and Sirius are by the lake, Sirius suddenly wakes up and starts screaming when he sees the dementors, but in the next shot, Sirius is unconscious(sp?) again?

Quote: Gary Oldman's long-time manager Doug Urbanski sealed the deal this morning with Harry Potter producer David Heyman: the actor will reprise the role of Sirius Black in the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie.
"I'm so relieved and happy," said Urbanski. "I can't put my mind in the place of the producers, but I would've thought that when they read the book, a call to us would've been very high on their list. Obviously, the character of Sirius Black is key."
Oldman's manager mentioned Oldman had been offered several different film roles in the time it took Warner Bros. to make a decision on the part of Harry's godfather.
Both Gary and manager are delighted with the highly anticipated outcome: "It's a wonderful role. Gary read the script last night, and he read part of it to me on the phone this morning. The end of the story is: Gary's in it. It's a terrific script, and he's so happy to be back."
yay! Finally! ;P
