Because when the first people were deciding the directions, they were right-handed, and therefore considered it to be the "right" way. Well, that was great, but it still left the other direction. They were all very tired at this point and eager to get on with practicing their dance moves (which had brought up this disussion in the first place), so they named it "left" because it was left over. duh!
Why is this  so hypnotizing?

Because little people inside your eyes are bieng hypnotized by the 's eyes, so for them to see the 's eyes you have to look at the too and you are becoming very sleepy.......

Because if the sky was yellow, we wouldn't be able to see the sun and we would have no idea what time it was. More importantly, it would look just plain weird!

Because I do have a test today, that wasn't *beep*. It's on European Socialism. I mean, really, what's the point? I'm not European. I don't plan on being European. So, who gives a crap if they're Socialists? They could be fascist anarchists, it still wouldn't change the fact that I don't own a car.

Because when the king returned, the two towers were destroyed, therefore, The Two Towers had to be written before the Return of the King, or the two towers wouldn't exist.
Why do we laugh when something is funny?

According to legend, Queen Mad (may her madness never cease), made several strange laws, such as that all men must wear kilts. Another of her strange laws was that no one could eat cheesepuffs on Monday, only Fritos. Unless, of course, you are Hans Jensen, in which case you can eat cheesepuffs whenever you want.

Because flutterby would sound a bit wierd and people would think they were butter and eat them which isn`t nice..
