has anyone ever read the Bartimaeus Trilogy? i've read the first book and a little of the second one. im hooked on it! i picked it up once for silent reading at school because i thought the cover looked really pretty, and i actually read it ... and loved it! so has anyone else read any of the books and loved it too?

they are really good books, i really like Bartimaeus's foot notes....they are really funny.

i really like how he's witty, not just some stupid Djinni that so happens to be one of the main characters in a book.

In my opinion, the third one is the only good one. The first two just build up to the climax.
The third one shows true character, judgement, and a little bit more suspense. The ending is also a little odd. such a great book....

...i sort of agree with Elven Mystic. I like all three but mainly the 1st and 3rd ones the best. The 2nd one sort...of just died for me.
