Now that Anakin was blocking the shots, Val rolled to the side, launching another knife. It took the man in the bicep of his gun arm, opening a deep gash and forcing him to drop the blaster. Getting to her feet, she spun in with a back-kick to the base of his jaw, launching him backward into the wall. Through the open door, she could see a scuffle going on in the bar.

Jaden ducked from another attack, the man's swinging foot passing just above his head. Jaden spun backwards with a leg sweap that sent the man crashing to the floor.

Jaden then jumped up and blocked a punch and kneed the guy in the stomach as the man behidn him began to get up.

Jaden kneed the man one more time in the stomach after grabbing him around the neck and then kneed him in the head. After that a solid punch sent him motinless to the floor.

The man groaned and started to move, but Val was right there, a knife in her right hand, pressed against his throat. "Dean Lentew," she said casually, in her normal voice. The sibilant whisper thing was getting old, fast. "What a pleasant surprise."
"Likewise, Lady Valera." He lay still. "I had no idea you had turned into an underworld pilot - the last I heard, you were training as a Jedi."
"And I had no idea you'd turned from plotting to ... well, plotting. Old habits die hard, what?"
"Once my conquest of Melbar didn't work out, I realized I could put my talents to better use."
Val raised an eyebrow. "Such as becoming an underworld crime lord?"
"Something along those lines, yes."
"And to finance this you turned to gambling, cheating, and hired assassins."
"That's a way of describing it."
"Y'know, you could save yourself a lot of breath if you just said, 'yes'. I take it you know that you're still wanted on Melbar."
"I did receive that impression."
Val rolled her eyes and rearranged herself, wrapping her legs around his neck in a hold while she accessed her comm link, asking the Melbarian diplomatic guards to come and take Lentew into custody.
