uh, yeah, he did have raven-colored hair. I remember because in the part with him and Eowyn (in the books), their hair -

Ahh, here's the excerpt.
"And so they stood on the walls of the City of Gondorand a great wind rose and blew, and their hair, raven and golden, streamed out mingling in the air." ("Steward of the King")
So there you go. Why don't you post up your list of complaints, Larael? I'd like to see it.

I hated it when the elves (and Haldir!) died at Helm's Deep!

well, this can kind of go two ways for me. the scene where i feel the most hate, is when Grima banishes Eomer, and taunts Eowyn, but i don't hate that scene...i kinda like it, but it just really makes me hate Grima.
but then, if i had to choose the scene i thought they just should've taken out of the film because it was just so pointless or something, it would probably be the scene in the EE (hey, it counts right?) when Eowyn gives Aragorn her stew. i just - ugh! - don't like it. the lines that Miranda has to say just seem really corny, and the whole scene seemed kinda pointles to me.

I agree; hearing Treebeard talk gets really irratating after a while. SpanishEvenstar wrote: My least favorite scene would have to be the warg attack. Argh!!! That scene bugs me! I just don't get the point of it. It's all for the "drama" or whatever...
I also hate the scenes with Faramir because he's not the way he's supposed to be. And of course I don't like it when Haldir dies

My list of complaints about Faramir and Eowyn in the movie:
~In the movie Faramir had brownish coloured hair and in the book Faramir had raven coloured hair.
~Faramir doesn't wish to take the ring in the book but he does in the movie.
~Faramir does not take Frodo and Sam to Osgiliath in the books but he takes them there in the movie (I think thats right)
~Faramir is not unkind to Gollum in the books but abuses him in the movie. (I think thats right too.)
At the moment I can't think of anymore, I will edit my list as I think of more.

Treebeard - he bored me to bits (and looks like he almost bored Merry and Pippin to bits as well!)
An important character yes, but the scenes seemed to go on foooorrreevveerrr!!!
Faramir's hair colour? - I suppose it was easier to get the wig to match his beard, rather then try and dye his beard to match a raven coloured wig.

Thank you!
I much agree with Mablung.
I would think the actor was being hired for his acting skills not the color of his hair. Looking for an actor mostly based on skills is sometimes where the casting goes wrong.

Hmmm thats a toughy... The only think I don't like in TTT is when Legolas "skateboards" down the stairs during the battle at Helm's Deep. It just seems to "hollywood-ish" to me.

The scene that i dislike is the opening scene...no offence, but it's kinda boring where frodo and sam are just walking and sleeping and then they find gollum...uh , and then that whole bit where they tie gollum up and drag him around... i know it's a cruel thing to do with gollum and frodo and sam are kool and all, but i think it's just gollum...no offence.

Oh really? I don't mind that part that much - but I don't like the opening scene of Gollum/Smeagol in RotK - it's just so creepy that I often skip the scene. Inexplicable. I don't hate Gollum - I feel sorry for him - but I just don't like that part, probably because it doesn't involve the more "modern" characters like the Fellowship members, Eomer, Eowyn, Arwen, Faramir, etc.
