It's not been decided yet, I believe. There is a poll in the Member Awards section about how often do members want to have the awards. I can't really answer your question, because it's a case of seeing what the majority vote is.

ok, I have been around a while, but I've never really gotten the system. How do you get the awards. Like how do you decide who should get the award?

When it's time for the next member awards round, you'll see threads all over the place asking members to nominate their fellow members in certain categories. For instance, if you knew someone who was...particularly random and fit the randomness award, you'd PM the name of that person to the A-U moderators account. Nominations are accepted for a few weeks, I think, and then polls are posted for each award category. Members are allowed to vote from a list of all the nominees, and whichever members get the most votes in their respective categories win the award.

A stupid question, and I'm not sure it belongs here, but it is mentioned so... What does it mean when you say that someone is random? English is not my language and I don't understand the meaning of the word in that context.  _________________

For example: One time my friends were talking about driving somewhere, and I suddenly started talking about something my dog had done the night before. After staring blankly at me for a few seconds, one of them commented, "Wow...that was random." So...yeah. Here's the Dictionary.com definition: Quote: random
adj 1: lacking any definite plan or order or purpose
