Mari crept down the stairs, hearing Rick and Lillian's voices. She didn't want do disturb them, but it <i>was</i> breakfast time, and people <i>would</i> be coming down...

Mari waited for them to leave, then crept out and went out the portrait hole. She went down to breakfast a different way. She walked, thinking and looking down at the floor. "Oh, sorry!" she said when she felt her face collide with someone. <i>Oh, NO....</i> she thought, looking up.
