Evangeline let out an almost-silent shriek as she woke up, panting for breath. The ancient, glass amulet around her furry neck plumeted and shattered into hundreds of sharp pieces on the floor, echoing. Evangeline gasped with shock that instant and tried to pick up the pieces with out cutting herself.
"Noo...", she muttered, frustrated and irritated.

She lifted the silver chain from the ground and clipped it back to her indigo neck. She left the shattered glass on the floor and strolled away, whistling innocently.

Leygh stopped when she saw Pyro. "Wha--?"

Pyro looked at Leygh and he froze. "Leygh?"

"We have orders." Hydro said. His brother stared at Leygh and she looked at him. Hydro suddenly sent a blast of water at the girls.

Evangeline heared the explosion but ignored it, she curled up on a window sill and gazed out dreamingly.
"I wonder if he'll come back..", she whispered to herself, rememberign someone deep inside the past.

Leygh sighed as she looked at Ella. Hydro said, "Sorry, Ella. " Pyro's eyes became steely and Leygh said, "Ella, get the X-Men.."

Hydro's eyes narrowed, and he sent another blast of water at her. Leygh saw it, and she jumped in the way, and was hit by the brunt of it, and flew back into a tree.
