"Yeah, I know," she said, "But that's not what I meant...he'll be really upset. Only because he loves her and doesn't want anything to happen to her, I know...and I can't say as I blame him. Look what happened when he was in the Tournament."

Gwen choked on her toast as she watched Mari go over to Scott. Her lips tugged into a smile and she quickly turned around so no one would notice. A few mischevious chuckles escaped from her mouth before she contained herself.

Mari nodded. She didn't say so, but knew why his mother was sensitive about the topic. The boy who died, Cedric Diggory, had been her boyfriend at the time. She shrugged. "I'm sure she has her reasons."
