It was evening now, and Eevee was laying on her hired bed once again, sobbing woefully. She gazed at the withering pot of coranations on an oak, vanished table and slowly moved towards it, poking it gently.

As the flaking petal swayed onto the reflecting table's surface, the words of what she was told earlier by the japenese martial arts teacher were echoing vaguely within her interior mind.

"You were resurrected in the form of a black widow spider - to resemble the bitterness of the rest of your life."

"I'm not Evangeline Frost-Kasady anymore...", she whispered to herself, "I'm Evangeline Frost-Murdock and have always been that.".

Tania and Liz finally arrived outside the Professors study. Tania knocked gently on the door.

Tania sense Liz's aprehension
"Okay..I guess we have some things I need to talk to him about. But I need you to wait right here. The Professor may need to speak with you about Eevee."

Eevee grabbed her fake-swede coat & furry scarf after packing all her belongings. She gazed at her reflection in a hung-up, cracked mirror and sighed deeply, clutching her natural brunette curls. She crept outside, without being noticed, so she wouldn't have to pay for the room she had in the hotel.
She brisked in the streets until she came to rather unusual apartment, she strolled inside and called out, "I came.".
A red figure in midst of the darkness came forward and firmly replied, "How did you find me?".
"I was told where to go.", Eevee replied casualy.
"You belong to his clan, seeing as you were cursed by them."
"I wasn't cursed, my mother just forced them to resurrect me so she could find me once again after Kasady slaughtered me."
"Aren't you going to call Kasady, 'father'?", the figure asked.
"Why should I? He ain't my father - you are...", and as soon as she finished, she swiftly sprinted away, fighting the urge to weep.

Eevee strolled silently through the alleyway, singing to herself, "I’m leading in the wind, head bowed down from what I saw. My shadow for a friend, so some things are worth fighting for...".
As she moved cross a white-cloaked lady, she hesitated and stepped back.

The Professor called her in and she turned to Liz
"Okay..." with that she walked in and shut the door over.

"Tania!" he exclaimed, obviously pleased to see her back.
"It is good to have you back home. I trust that everything went well in Canada with your mother?" he enquired

Tania paced, she didn't want to sit.
"It was...hard at first, but we got through it together. He hurt her, not physically, but mentally. I think....I think she may have loved him at one point." she cringed at the thought.

"We cannot choose who our heart desires, Tania. If only love were that simple."

She stopped and looked at him.
"I know...I know only too well. But...we need to discuss this another time. I heard about Eevee, and her coming back from the dead. Liz wanted to talk to her..but she's gone. Left a letter" she stated firmluy, handing him the letter Evee wrote.

He studied the words carefully and sighed deeply.
"This is a most unfortunate turn of events. We must find her. Unfortunately Cerebro is still off limits, thanks to William Stryker. We must do this - as Wolverine would say - The hard way"

Tania nodded
"I agree...however there is a small set back."

Xavier queried what that was, and Tania explained.

"Very well. Bring Liz in here and we'll dicuss this further"

Tania nodded in agreement and opened the door.
She frowned and rolled her eyes. Turning back to the Professor

"She's gone to him"

Liz opened the door to the room and looked in.

"There's no one here kid."Sabertooth said and she walked in and closed the door.

"Told you she would return."Bryan said and watched her.

"I need a favour."Liz said and looked at Bryan.

"Really luv?!"Bryan said and stood close to the opening.

"A friend is missing.She went to Hell's Kitchen."

"And you want me to come with you so you can use the connetions to find here."Bryan said and Liz looked at him.

"Yeah.Tell me what you want in return and I'll fix it."she said and looked at Sabertooth who was watching her.

The cloaked women lifted her hood to reveal a beautiful, blonde face and stepped towards Eevee softly.
"Who are you?", Eevee asked quietly.
"Don't you reconize me?", the women replied casualy.
"You do look familiar...", Eevee answered then her eyes seeemd to enlarge, "Is that you... Emma?".
Emma Frost nodded and said, "Call me 'mother'.".
Eevee started to back away, trembling slightly.
"Let me explain everything... The realtionship between Matt and I was very short-lasting but I ended up with you. Matt wouldn't except you, he was blind for heaven's sake! I then met Cletus Kasady, a maniac, so Ipretended that he was your father, I decided that when you grew up - you would think that you father didn't have a choice about looking after you.
I then reliased that when you grew up, and if you were powerful, you could join me, but you would have to face hatred and agony merged with woe. So I abandonned you. So I took you to a prophet who told me all about your future 'till the moment you died. So I asked his clan to place a curse on you, so when you perished, you would be resurrected.", Emma finished and took in a deep breath, "Will you join me?".

"I..."she said but stopped when the door opened.

Eevee gazed sorrowfully at her mother, her eyes bulging up in more tears.
"Here comes the waterworks...", Emma muttered bitterly, "Are you going to join me or not?".
"How can you expect me to answer that question!?", Eevee snapped.
"You've witnessed enough pain, time to releash your frustration and hatred upon the ones who deserve it."
"Like you, prehaps?"

Tania and Professor X came through the door to the holding area.
"Liz..I asked you to wait outside."
Tania sounded disapointed but not all that surprised.
She half glanced at Sabretooth. He smirked at her.

"Shut up."she said and turned to face Tania and the Professor.

"I wanted a garantee that we would get his help."

Eevee was about to run away but Emma telekenicticly pinned Eevee onto the wall.
"Join me or suffer...", she hissed, watching Eevee gulp.
