Yrudit, halfway sheathing his sabre, brought it back out again. He watched as the Soulreaper sized Rumour up.

Rumour continues to sit astride the giant spider as it bucks in its death throes, a mad grin on her features. When the archnid's shuddering ceases, she turns her cold black eyes to meet the SoulReaper's, which are hidden beneath his hood. "Well?... Narion hissed once more, glared at both the Soulreaper and Rumour then knelt, speaking quietly a prayer for the Spider's soul.

"Where are you taking us?" Yrudit demanded, stealing a quick glance at Rumour. Should the shapeshifter and the Soulreaper come to ends, he did not know who would win.

Narion wasn't sure if she should listen to the Soulreaper or the Shapeshifter. Neither liked Spiders very much so one certainly wasn't better than the other.

Rumour steps towards the Soulreaper, completely unafraid of his looming shadow. "You'd best back off, I encountered this 'lot' first.... They are my cohorts and I am the one who recruited them first.... Get your own elsewhere, Darkie...." Her voice is the snarling tone somwhere between cat, human, and unidentifiable monster. She then turns to Zerksies. "The job requires the killing of a certain creature that I will not speak of here, and it's home is situated somewhere in either Anden and Urkkland, where exactly I will not say at the moment..." Rumour's wickedly glittering eyes flick to the Soulreaper's, matching his gaze easily and confidently.....
