Eric strolled along the streets with no purpose, no reason, no regret. He saw a leaf fall down in front of him and grabbed it. The leaf withered as it froze. He discarded and turned his eyes forward, where two anti-mutant fundamentalists walked up to him. They stopped within feets of him. "Hiya, fellas,"Eric said, in an unconvincing cheerful voice. "We know what you are, creature,"one of them said. "I'm sorry?" Eric said, raising an eyebrow. "I don't believe we've met." No sooner had Eric said that, one of the anti-mutants punched him in the torso, sending Frost Lord flying back. "Have it your way, then," Eric said as he calmy got up. The man who punched went up to him to kick him. Eric deflected and punched him the jaw. Behind him, his companion fled, deserting his companion. Eric went up to the man on the ground and grabbed him by the throat, freezing it. Eric breathed softly over him and soon frost began appearing over him. He was frozen. Eric discarded him just like he did with the leaf and continued his walking.

Eric continued walking when someone said, "That was quite a talent you had over there." Eric turned and saw a man who was dressed quite plainly.
"Who are you?" Eric asked.
"My name is Eric or if you will, Magneto," the man answered.
"Magneto...you would be.."
"Yes, I am head of the Brotherhood. What is your name, my friend?"
"Eric."
"What a coincedence. Listen carefully, Eric. Powers that you have, despite what people say, are not curses. They are blessings, given to you because you are different. I can teach you how to use their powers to help those like us. Are you with me, Eric?"
Eric was bewildered. He dind't know what to say. Magneto continued on.
"If you refuse my offer, then I can not protect you. Protect you from people like the one you just killed. People that hate you for your gifts."
"I'll join you." Eric said.
"Very well," Magneto said. "From henceforth, you shall be the Frost Lord. Now come, there is much that we have to do."

Frost Lord sat on his bed and looked out the window. Magneto had been...well....friendly to him since they met. The manison they lived in was nice and well-furnished. The bed which Frost Lord sat on was a four-poster bed with silk curtains. Rarely had Frost Lord seen the other "Brothers". There was a knock on his door. "Come in," Frost Lord said wearily. It was Magneto.
"I need to talk with you," Magneto said.
Frost Lord asked, "About what?"
"This," Magneto said, throwing a photograph on his bed. Frost Lord took it. It was a picture of some kind of cyborg in camo.
"He was a subject of a secret government project. He is codenamed the Hatred. His name is shown in his attitude to mutants," Magneto said as Frost Lord looked at the picture
Frost Lord inquired, "Where did you get this?"
"Mystique hacked into some government files. The dark ones. The ones they wouldn't want the people to know. Hatred regards his mission to destroy every single mutant."
"Didn't they tried that before?" Frost Lord said, remembering the harsh pain he felt so long ago.
"Yes, but they were unsuccessful then," Magneto said kindly. "But I fear we have ourselves another Stryker. Another disillusioned misguided crusader who thinks mutants are from hell or whatever the anti-mutants are ranting about."
"What are we going to do about him?"
"What the Brotherhood do best...."
