Jack leaned his body forward and plugged the barrel of the gun with two of his fingers. Jack could only hear the voice of Jon, but could not see who exactly was talking to him through the thick fog. He ignored Blackbeard as if he were never there and replied to the voice, "My intentions are not meant for ye lad.."

Rafe looked around. He didn't thinkt hey were going to be able to do anything about the pirats at the moment... But this might prove to be a profitable venture..... assuming they came out of it alive.

Cade knew that she shouldn't try to work against the pirate, she should work with him to stay alive. " if i must go to sea in that way, it is better than not at all." she wished she had not said that as the pirate would think that she was giveing him cheek.
