Reyas stopped and eyed the fourth dwarf.

Kael watched as the four ships was being prepared to set sail. He was bringing two scores of warriors along with four team of laborers with him. His realm would not notice that he was gone. At last, the ships were ready to set sail. His replacement was sure to know what to do. He was closely watched..

the ship was in the port and a small row boat went to the port authority there to authorize their docking.

A month after the arrival of (and swift departure of) Vorusul Umbur's emmissaries an army 800 strong strode through the lands of Aldenth Umskal. It flooded up the vale to the fortress which Aldenth held. He had prior warning of the attack and was able to get all the people who had come to his land safely with his fortress. A battle, and a seige followed. It was broken after five weeks, and the forces of Aldenth umskal drove away the attackers. But they didn't stop. They continued to press the advantage, and fought south, continuing down the country, forcing their enemies back, and taking in peasants, along with soldiers who could swell their ranks.

At the current time Aldenth Umskal has taken two thirds of the country. The centre of his realm is still the stronghold in the mountains, but he has moved to a large fortified city half-way down the country, nearer to the frontline for better command of his forces.
However, the third of the country held by Vorusul Umbur is well fortified, and his forces are now compacted into a relatively small area. And further still, Aldenth's armies are nearing the full extent of their stretch. Advancing them much further would leave them dangerously thin. The main thing on Aldenth's mind now is how to get more troops to wipe Vorusul Umbur from Shurkesh. And he is beginning to look to his borders to find the forces necessary.

Kael looked at the land they had landed on. So far ten of his warriors had accompanied him during their landing. Behind him, seven rowboats were furiously sailing for the shore. "Set up base camp!" Kael ordered as soon as the boats landed. "I want this camp up in four hours. Then we start working." Tents were erected as some of the laborers placed pointed stakes outward from the camp to deter any hostile creatures.

Aver didn`t want to meet this emissary, he considered such mans words useless as he could not judge this king for himself and therefore would meet him personally. Aver left the tower into the control of his oldest apprentice and together they opened a portal, Aver walked out of a blueish glimmering door into the castle of the king. It was quiet easy considering he had spies in this corner of the world and he knew that this king had been rather aggresive or at least fought. Aver walked trough the castle halls with his cloak wrapped around him and with his hood up looking around hoping to go unnoticed.

"My lord over here!" one of his warriors shouted. Kael ran towards the man where he pointed at a fairly large footprint in the forest not too far from the forest his camp. "Giants," the warrior said. Kael bit his tongue. Giants "If you see one, get the men into wall formation and tell the archers fire at the head of the beast," Kael ordered. There was a giant roar somewhere near the forest where the laborers were busy cutting down the trees. "Get back to camp," Kael said. Kael and the warrior started to run back to their camp as giant footsteps trembled the earth. "You men!" Kael shouted at the laborers. "Get the grappling hooks out and prepare to throw them at my order. Soldiers into wall formation! Archers behind them and aim at the head of the giant at my command." Ten soldiers brought out large shields while the other ten held their halbreds between the shields. Twenty archers lined up behind the soldiers and drew their bows as the teams of laborers took the grappling hooks in shaking hands.

the ambassador stood tall with a long gray beard, being the kings brother, he had immense prestige in his kingdom, and sent a messenger to draw the enemy king to him.

Kael watched as the fifteen foot giant emerged from the forest and could already sense that his soldiers were losing morale fast. "Archers, fire!" Kael yelled. Instantly, twenty arrows flew towards the giant's head. The giant shook his head as most of the arrows hit him and bellowed loudly. "Fire at will!" Kael ordered, shaking himself. Arrows whistled towards the giant's head. The giant went for the shield bearers and took one by the hand. "Now!" Kael roared. The laborers threw the grappling hooks at the giant's leg and ran behind it. Once behind the rampaging beast, who was took another warrior in the hand, the laborers pulled on the ropes. "Pull, men, pull!!" Kael said. As arrows pierced the giant, the laborers tugged the rope harder until the giant lost his balance and fell backwards. Some of the laborers were crushed by the 500 pound giant. More grappling hooks were thrown at his arms and pulled the giant down as the surviving warriors pierced his body with their halbreds.
