After walking a little ways, the six of them eventually stopped in sight of a large tent, and noticing a centaur nearby, Peter drew his sword and held it high. "We have come to see Aslan." he said, and the centaur inclined his head slightly towards the tent. After a moment's silence, the tent flap slowly opened, and a massive lion walked out, and as he did, the crowd beyond all dropped to their knees, and Peter, Susan, and Lucy followed their example.

Evelyn knelt beside Lucy and stared at the ground, feeling more awkward than she ever had on this wild adventure.

Aslan regarded them all for a moment, before speaking. " Welcome Peter, Son of Adam. Welcome Susan, Lucy, and Evelyn, Daughters of Eve. And welcome Beavers, you have my thanks. But where are the other two?"

"That's why we're here, sir." Peter said, standing again and sheathing his sword. "We need your help."

"We had a little trouble along the way.." said Susan.

"They've both been captured by the White Witch." Peter then said, finishing for Susan."

"Captured?" asked Aslan. "How could this happen?"

"They...betrayed them, your Majesty," said Mr. Beaver. Evelyn lowered her eyes.

"Then they have betrayed us all!" Oreius said angrily, and Aslan turned to him. "Peace, Oreius. I'm sure there's an explanation." he said, looking back at Peter and the others.

"It's my fault, really...I was too hard on Edmund.." Peter said, lowering his gaze slightly. Susan then reached over and put a hand on Peter's shoulder. "We all were.."

Evelyn shook her head. "I won't even start in on my irresponsibility," she said, looking at Aslan.

"He's our brother..and she's our friend.." Lucy said sadly, looking at Aslan.

"I know, dear one, and that only makes the betrayal all the worse. It may be harder than you think."

Later that day, Evelyn came out of a tent dressed in a gown very similar to Susan's, but in a dark red color, almost crimson. Her sword belt hung about her hips, and her hair was tied back in a graceful braid with gold cords going through it. She looked up and saw Peter walking towards a hill. She walked towards him, and once she had sufficiently caught up to him, she called him.

Peter turned, hearing someone calling his name, and upon seeing Evelyn, a smile forced its way onto his face suddenly.

Evelyn smiled back, and hurried to catch up with him. "Hey," she said. "Seems like a while since we last talked.." she said, laughing slightly.

Peter said, nodding slightly in agreement with her. "I know, everything's been so hectic.."

She smiled a bit, then paused, unsure of what to say. Instead, she walked forward, trying to think of something. "It wasn't your fault," she finally said.

"Yes, it was.." Peter said, before sighing. "And no one can convince me it wasn't.."

Evelyn shook her head. "In that case I won't try," she said, "But I still think you can't completely blame yourself. Anyway," she said, "Aslan'll help us, and it'll be alright."

Peter nodded mutely, then sighed again. "Eventually.."
