"That's a very long list..and we have to make sure the High King doesn't know why we're preparing the Hall." Felicity said, shaking her head slightly. "He thinks it's just a celebration marking his and the others' five-year reign here.."

Evelyn smiled. "And are the others helping to distract him? After all, we can't have him bursting in on us," she said, opening the door.

Felicity laughed softly. "Yes..Lucy's got him preoccupied at the moment, and I heard that Susan was going to take over later."

Evelyn laughed. "That's good. Now, what exactly have we to do?"

"We have to make sure the Hall is ready by lunch, and after that, we're supposed to oversee the cooking of the feast..and lastly, the baking of the cake."

"Oh, lord..." she said. "Well, I'll oversee the Hall preparations, as it's dangerous to have me in a kitchen, and you can take care of the cooking. That'll get it done twice as fast."

"All right, sounds good to me." Felicity said, before lifting her skirts and heading off in the direction of the kitchens.

Evelyn smiled, and went off to the Hall.

Muttering angrily under her breath, Felicity turn heel and left the kitchen, ignoring the arguement going on behind her. The cooking had quickly turned into a disaster! The cake had, quite literally, exploded all over everything when it was dropped, just as it was finished, and now, she was wearing a lot of it. "Lord..and only an hour left to finish everything.." she muttered to herself, keeping her head down as she hurried towards her room.

(Perfect time to bump into someone..it'd be very amusing..)

Edmund walked down the hall, but suddenly felt himself collide with someone. "Oh, I'm so-" he took a closer look at the girl. "Felicity?" he asked.


Evelyn heard commotion in the kitchen. The Hall had, of course, gone as generally planned. She stepped in and made a face like she was about to pass out. "Oh, great," she said.

Felicity jumped in surprise, and quickly turned red under the flour all over her face. "No..I'm sorry.." she said softly, lowering her head, totally mortified.

Edmund, who knew it was her, let her pass anyway, and merely shook his head.

Evelyn, within a half an hour, had sorted things out in the kitchens and managed to get most of the cooking done in time. "The rest can be done in the course of the evening..." she muttered to herself as she went off to find Felicity. "Oh, Your Highness," she said to Edmund, "Have you seen Felicity?"

"How many times to we have to ask you not to call us by titles?" asked Edmund, meaning all of his siblings. "And yes, I have."

"Where was she?"

"Off to her room. She had flour on her face...."

Evelyn sighed. "Well, is your brother arriving soon?"

"I believe so...he's with Susan."

"Great," she muttered. "Okay, thank you."

They both inclined heads and she went off to Felicity's room.

Felicity was, by then, cleaning up as well as she could, though she'd probably smell like cake for a couple days. After cleaning up, she then sighed and looked down at her dress, which was pretty much ruined, and she then went over to her closet and began digging through it, looking for something else to wear.

Evelyn shook her head as she watched her from the doorway, then said, "Your hair's fine, just change into your beige dress."

Felicity jumped, then turned and looked at her cousin. "Do you like nearly giving me a heartattack or something?" she asked, sighing and pulling out a different dress, this one blue and just about as long as the one she had on.

"That'll work, too," said Ev. "And don't worry - I sorted out the kitchens enough to get substantial food. And take your time - I'll distract people from your absence."
