Peter pulled out his pocket knife and began cutting at the thicker ivy, while Felicity helped Evelyn with the thinner ivy.

Ev kept taking one strand of ivy and finding that it went all the way up the door, and pulling it down. "That <i>always</i> happens..." she said exasperatedly.

Evelyn raised an eyebrow skeptically when he wasn't looking. Right. Just a prick. She sighed and turned back to the ivy, pulling a bit too hard on one strand and taking three down with it. "Oh.." she said quietly, then gave a small, silent chuckle.

Before much longer, all the ivy had been cleared away, though it was now so dark inside that hardly anything could be seen.
