Felicity woke early the next morning, glad that she had gone to bed right after talking with Edmund last night, and she yawned and pulled on her long robe, before heading to the kitchens to get something for breakfast.

Evelyn had already woken up and was eating her breakfast when Felicity came down. "Morning, Lici," she said.

"Morning." Felicity said, before yawning. "Did you have fun last night?"

Evelyn smiled her smug, secretive smile. "Depends on what you consider fun," she said, laughing.

Evelyn smiled, then looked down as she drank her water. She leaned over and whispered, "I'll tell you later." She sat back down and fingered the end of her braid. She hadn't worn it down more than three times in the past five years.
