Ev smiled, then said, "I should be getting down to lunch. See you later," she said. She left to go down to eat with the Pevensies.

Ev made a childish 'oh, please,' face as a joke as she went out the door. She went down and met Susan and Lucy in the hall. "Good job yesterday," she told Lucy, laughing.

Felicity shook her head slightly, then headed back to her own room.

Forgoing lunch completely, Felicity had gone out to the gardens early to walk around for a while.

Ed put down his fork and knife. "I must excuse myself," he said, standing up.

Ev exchanged a look with Susan, then stifled a smile and sipped her water.

Peter and Lucy looked at each other, and Lucy then glanced at Evelyn.

Having circled the gardens about three times already, Felicity soon sat down on one of the stone benches and fiddled with a few stray strands of her hair.

Evelyn smiled and raised her eyebrows briefly at Lucy.

Edmund walked down to the gardens, trying to convince himself that what he was doing wasn't stupid or crazy. He walked down and saw her there. <i>I'm out of my mind</i>, he thought to himself.

Lucy stifled a laugh, and returned her attention to her meal.

Looking up, Felicity saw Edmund, and smiled slightly.

Edmund walked toward her and forced a smile. "Hi," he said.


Evelyn laughed quietly, then smiled and rose, saying, "I hope Your Majesties won't mind my excusing myself, as well."

"Ev, how many times do we have to ask you not to use titles?" asked Susan, smiling.

Evelyn smiled, then said, "Sorry. Force of habit," and left. She walked toward her room, grinning to herself the whole way.
