Ev smiled and put a hand on his shoulder. "Well, I'm glad you're feeling better, first and foremost. Now you should get some sleep," she said. She kissed his forehead, then picked up her book again and started reading.

Edmund shook his head, as well. "No, she should at least know..."
Ev looked up as someone knocked on the door. She exchanged a look with Peter, then put down her book and went to answer it. "Yes?" she asked.
"His Majesty King Edmund wishes you to know that Felicity has fallen ill, as well," said the servant girl.
Ev sighed. She looked back at Peter, then said, "Tell them I'll be over there in a minute."
The girl nodded and left.
