Avia crouched down, ready to attack the shadow spawns. But just as she was about to pounce, Thyora dissolved the creatures with a silver ribbons that shot out of her hand. Avia was impressed, and releaved to fing Thyora looking better than she had before.

more of the creatures sprouted from the ground, but now they stood straight and had swords and wings.

Avia rolled her eyes. Of course it wouldn't be that easy. She crouched again and pounced, intending to tackle it to the ground.

One floated off the ground and readied to impale Avia.

Avia broke off her attack and twisted away from the blade, landing on her side with a thud. She scrambled to her feet and attacked again, keeping an eye out for blades. She launched herself at a shadow spawn, again trying to tackle it to the ground.

It easily matched her strength and forced her backwards.

Avia tumbled backwards, cutting herself slightly on a jagged rock. She rolled quickly to her feet. She flew into the air, then dived downward at the shadow spawn. at the last minute she pulled up, and slashed a talnon at a spawn.

It lifted up it's sword so she would cut herself.

Avia veered to the side. A sharp pain erupted in her belly as the sword cut her flesh as she tried to clip the spawn while passing over. She landed a little ways off to inspect the wound. It wasn't life threatening, but that didn't stop it from hurting. A little blood dripped down her hind legs. What had the silver figure said? "No harm will come too you?" Hmph. That liar. If it were here right now she'd rip it to shreds.

These spawns....they were good. Avia doubted she could beat one, let alone a dozen. Maybe there was another way. She slunk slowly to where the shadow spawn were. "Do you wish too reason?" Avia asked. "Why do you not let us go? We have caused you no harm. I appoligize for my rash decion to attack, and I hope we can make an agreement. Do you wish to speak?"

the shadow didn't speak and the silver thing appeared again, saying "We will not hurt you, but these embodiments of darkness will, I suggest you go through the scraper to my master on it's roof."

"First you tell us that to pass the test we have to slay them, and now you are advising us to run?" Avia glared at the silver being. "Make up your mind. Which is it?"

he said "I am not the one to decide, the test is to fight the heartless on your way to the top of the tower where you will be safe, we have no control over these black creatures."

More silver ribbon shot out of Thyoras hand, but they couldn't destroy the nwe monsters, only hold them back. "In which case, who here can't fly, cause I'm sure flying is the quickest way to the top, I hate stairs."
