Right, I have a freewebs site and I was wondering if anone knew how to change it so that I could have my own layout on instead of a ready made template.
Here's what it looks like now wit one of their templates on:

Hi! At the moment your site is just a template layout, you don't really have much flexibility with those. If you want to be able to do your own layout you have to convert your website to "html mode", the downside is that you'll have to learn html (which isn't that tricky! , plus there's a nifty format in WebEdit that makes it a lot easier) You can make your website html by clicking on "My account" and clicking on the green button that says "Downgrade My Account to HTML ONLY mode" Once you do this however, you can't go back using template layouts!
Anyway I hope that this helps, if not I'll try and explain better!

Thankyou Alassë, I know very little HMTL which would probably be where I'd go wrong, I have no idea about much really! Do you think you could do me some pointers?

It's forf kids, so it should be easy to understand, and I still go back there lots for codes I don't know.
