Mil groaned and sat down on a wooden rocking chair with her babies. "They can't go a day without trying for more children." Mil got up and hammered on the door. "C'mon, it's my baby shower!"

Three hours later, Haldir and Craig emerged from their room in exhaution. "I'm back," said Haldir grinning contentedly.

Mil rolled her eyes. "I'm ready for bed. You?" she said to Legolas. Legolas nodded. Mil sighed as she got up. "It's been a long day. See you tomorrow, Haldir, Craig, mommy."

Elenriel smiled as she looked down at Thransil. The young child yawned in her arms. Rocking him back and forth, she quietly sang a lullaby, her melodic voice lulling him to sleep. Knowing that his mother was getting some well deserved rest, she gently placed Thransil in his cradle and tenderly tucked him in. "Sleep well, little one." she whispered as she kissed him on the cheek. Legolas walked up to her and gently wrapped his arms around her waist, drawing her close. "It grows late, beloved." he said softly, kissing her on her neck. Elenriel nodded, weariness filling her. "Yes, I think it's time we returned home" she replied. With that both bid farewell to all present and departed for Mirkwood.
