Aiya! Yun i eneth nin,
I was wondering if it were alright if i joined this club son i can feel at home with fellow authors. I have been writing since about 8 roughly, now i'm 13 nearly 14. I love writing fantasy stories including lotr fanfic and harry potter fan fic. But in my archive of 100 i have around 50 non fanfic stories. The most serious one i have now is about a retarded boy and his older brother that takes care of him. If you would like to read it please pm me. But here is a list of my most recent works i am writing:
Genuine brotherhood-two brothers, one disfunctional family. One is retarded and one is lost. Can the retarded brother help find the lost one?Can the lost one help the retarded brother? This is their genuine brotherhood.

My Daughter's gardener-Two girls, two eras. Jean is a girl who calls her garden home but when an older man comes into her life, is it love? Lidia is a young girl, she helps her father in the garden but one day a young man steps into her life and upsets the balance of her and her father's relationship. Are these two stories one?

You I shall bear, greenleaf- Chronicles of Legolas and Thranduil life since he was a toddler to adult.

your stories sound like they get into quite deep subjects.

I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I've been writing my series since 9. I've changed so much over nearly five years that I've discarded my first four books. it's called Realms of the Last Age and I have the first half of it (around 60 pages) typed up. if anyone wants to read it, I'll email it to you.

In anticipation of the new PotC, I'm in the planning stages of a pirate novel, which I hope to make a seiries. It's about a pirate, Black Jack Davy, who who wants revenge against his former crew. Aye, it sounds a lot like PotC, but I sware it isn't. XD

And So_Yun, I'd love to read any of your writing. ^_^ I'd be happy to share any of mine with you all, but most of my stories don't have enough to care about. *laughs*

I'm actually re-working a story i started along time ago and trying make it work. it's called "A Picture's worth a Thousand Words". It's about two best friends who both are very close and are both very talented in the arts. Eve is a very vibrant, colorful, energetic being who is the quirkiest artist around. While her best friend Loraine is the polar opposite. She's very laid back, calm and has a knack for photography. She usually leans on Eve for support and to feel confident about herself. But when Eve moves across the country, it's really about how Loraine copes with the adjustment and how their friendship actually survives by a picture that Eve paints and the photo taken by Loraine that inspired the painting. It was of a tree that held sentimental value to them because it held a lot of memories from their childhood.
*exhales* That was a fairly long bio!

So_Yun, we're glad you feel welcome.

And Jack, your book sounds cool, it actually reminded me of a book that i've read called 'Pirates'. It's about these two girls back in the time of slavery in Europe and the new America, and one of them runs away to escape a terrible arranged marriage and the other to escape slavery. They end up becoming pirates, it's really cool. It may not be like yours, but I'm suggesting it because you seem very interested in pirates.

I'll have to check that out. My story is about the pirate Jack, adn he saves the life of a young girl from a well to do family. He doesn't like her at first, but they end up falling in love. I'm still planning it. I have to keep changing it becaue it gets too much like PotC.

Also another work in progress i forgot to mention:
Beyond the dark- seven teenagers find a myth on a website then decide to go check it out at the local Camp Nash. The mysterious phantom of Nash is supposed to reside there, but is he really real? Does he kills teenagers for his own son's death for revenge? But what if one of the friends in the group made him up? But what if she is in for a big surprise? Horror, comedy, romance lol

*sigh* I never have such clear ideas of what my story is going to be about...

Anyway, here's a story that I wrote on an English mock exam a while ago. It goes back to somewhere around the beginning of 1900's, I think.

Good for her
Part 1: Elizabeth
I met David in a park. I was lying in the grass, reading, when he came running. I never asked him, but i think he was quite in a hurry. Still, since he fell over me and made my feet hurt a lot, he never left me. He stayed all day, just apologising. I kept on telling him it didn't matter, even though it did, 'cause if truth shall be revealed, I had fallen in love with him the moment i saw him. He was so cute as he sat there, repeating how tremendously sorry he was, and asking me wether i really was okay. In the end I bid him to tell me the truth; "Why aren't you leaving?" He became even more upset by my question. Did I want him to leave? "No, I don't want you to leave. I enjoy your company," I said, "but you don't even know my name. Why aren't you leaving?"
"Well, the truth to be told, even though I don't even know your name, I've fallen in love with you," he answered. I can't tell how happy I was. Here I was, in love with someone I didn't even know, and so he happened to be in love with me too.
"So, would you mind to tell me what your name in fact is?" he asked me.
"If you tell me yours afterwards," I said.
"I promise faithfully, that even if your name should be Griselda, I'll stay and tell you mine!" he said with his hand over his heart. I couldn't help but laugh. "Well then, my name is Elizabeth," I said, "now tell me yours!" He cleared his throath and said; "I thank thee, Lord, that her name wasn't Griselda, 'cause then I would have had to break my promise to this lovely lady," Then he looked at me and continued; "my name is David. Will you marry me?" I laughed again. "No, I won't. I'm sorry, but you're much older than me," I answered, piercing my own heart.
"That never stopped Romeo and Juliet, but have it your way. How old are you, anyway?" David asked.
"As my mother always says, I have the charming age of fourteen," I blushed as I said it. I suddenly felt so terribly young.
"That's absolutely a charming age. I for myself am eighteen. Not quite so charming, is it?" I gave him a weak smile. "I find it a very charming age," My voice wouldn't bear, so it became nothing more than a quiet whisper.
"Then why won't you marry me? I don't care wether you can cook, I'll eat anything. I don't care wether you know how to wash clothes, I'll wear them dirty. I'll never complain on anything. If only you will marry me!" I felt tears coming. "I'm sorry, but I can't. I'm not ready for it. I want to be a good wife to the man I love, and if I marry you now, I'm afraid I'd fail," I could see the disappointment in his eyes. "I understand. You don't want to hurt me, but what you're really saying is that you don't love me. Don't worry, I won't bother you anymore," he said, and rose. I couldn't hold back the tears now. "No, wait!" I cried when he started to walk. "You don't understand! I do love you, I really do! Just give me some times, then I'll be ready to marry you!" But he was already gone. I don't know wether he heard me or not. He just left me, and I haven't seen him since then.

Part 2: Elizabeth
I'm here again now, a year later. I would have been ready to marry him by now. If he hadn't left me. It hasn't been a day since we met that I haven't thought of him, missed him, loved him. Many a man has proposed, but the only man I want to marry is David. If I can't have him, I won't have anyone.
There's a river nearby. I've often used to go there to think. Lately I've been going there to think about David. That's actually where I'm heading now. I just had to stop by the park to see the place where I first met him, and where I lost him..
There's a person sitting by the river, under my David-tree. A man. I feel I've seen him before. I feel I know that hair, and that back. I've been thinking about it every day for a year. Seen it walk out of my life. But it can't be. He left!
"D-David?" I whisper. The man turns. My heartbeat raises. It's him! It's really him!
"Elizabeth? Is it actually you?" David rise up. Blinded by tears I start running, and amost falling I land in his arms. "I've missed you so! Where have you been?" I whipser while tears flow. He dries them away. "I had to get away from places that reminded me of you. But no matter where I've been going, my life has been like hell since I left you. Will you ever be able to forgive me?" he asks.
"Of course. If only you promise never to leave me again," I say.
"Never ever!" he whispers into my ear.
We sit down by a tree. In fact, it's my David-tree. It's where I used to sit when I thought about him. Neither of us say anything. We just sit there, him with his arms wrapped tightly about me. I can't help but smile. My only source of happiness has returned to me. I can feel his breath in my neck. We just sit there, silent, all night. I think I fall asleep after a while. For the first time since he left, I'm actually able to rest while I'm sleeping. Rest in the arms of my love.

Part 3: David
"Get up now, David! You can't grieve forever," someone says. I open up my eyes and see my brother standing in the doorwa. God, I'm drowsy! I've been dreaming about Elizabeth again. "It was my fault," I mumble.
"Well, and least it wasn't you who left here again," my brother says.
"But it was my fault. I made her unhappy. I should have listened to her. She was right. She was always right. But I refused to listen to her, the way I've always done. No wonder she left me!" My brother sits down at my bedside. "Listen, David. You demanded too mych of her, but there's nothing you can do about it now," he tells me. I realise I'm crying. My brother leaves me. He knows I have to be alone.
Why did I have to be so foolish? I don't think I'll ever stop loving her. Poor Elizabeth. I wasn't good for her.

That's good, Lothriel! I like it!
I was assigned a project in creative writing, and I sorta asked to be able to write some of a novel. (I'm homeschooled, so I was able to choose what I wanted to do). So I'll finally start writing on one of my ideas! lol. Maybe I'll post some of it on here when I've got some written.
