Margaret walked around the room. It was decorated with bright colors, as were the outfits. She was sat in a chair, remembering the argument over her costume with Raoul. It was desined like a wedding dress, that had torn edges, and was colored ash grey with bits of black. Her mask was the same gray and cover the top half of her face and had a veil. Raoul said it was depresing. She didn't care. As she watched all the couples dance she didn't notice a pair of eyes watching her.

Raoul was dancing with the love of his life, Christine. He thought that she looked absolutely beautiful.

Erik noticed Margaret, as soon as he walked in. He had a small smile on his lips and he slowly walked down the grand staircase.

Margaret continued watchin all the couples until she noticed a figure standing in front of her. She looked up and once again was looking at the man who resembled Erik.

Erik looked down to Margaret and extended his hand to her. He looked over her face and then a flashback came.

~The two of them were laying in bed, after making love. He looked down, to the ring on her finger and smiled happily. Then, they kissed.~

Erik shook his head and continued watching Margaret.

Margaret silently took his hand and let him lead her to the dance floor. Again he wore a mask, but she looked into his eyes and knew he was her Erik.

Erik wrapped his arms around her waist and then started slowly dancing. He looked back into her eyes, wondering why he recognized her so much. He sighed and just continued dancing.

Margaret was speechless. This was so right, it felt like a dream. As she looked into his eyes she saw confusion and sadness. She frownd wondering what has happened to him. And with out realising what she was doing she sang their song, and deep in her mind she hoped it would bring him back to her.

Margaret looked at Erik. He was confused, sad, and their was another emotion she couldn't read. "Erik?" she asked quietly. "What has happened to you?" She asked loud enough for him to hear without knowing it.
