Elenriel sighed as she raced into the reception hall, Legolas close behind her. She was angered that both of them were late again. When will I ever be able to celebrate with my family on time? she thought bitterly. Elenriel paused briefly after entering the hall, her eyes shining with regret. Legolas squeezed her hand comfortingly, knowing how disappointed she was. Elenriel turned and gave him a weak smile. “I guess we should congratulate the couple.” she said. With that the two of them walked up to Katie and Will. “My sincere apologies for our absence beloved niece. We were unexpectedly delayed.” With that she embraced Katie. “Congratulations to the both of you. May your days be filled with love and laughter and may your marriage bring you eternal bliss.” She smiled at them before continuing. “Here are your gifts from the both of us. I do hope you like them.” she replied as she handed her a chest of diamonds and one of their kinsmen led in a pure white Pegasus.

Eariel and Frodo strolled in to the reception hall. Eariel's eyes widened when she saw Elenriel's gifts, but nonetheless she took pride in presenting Katie with a leather volume of the Elventales, and a pair of homing doves.
